Terms of Service
Last updated: August 20, 2026
The service
Aveline is an AI receptionist used primarily by veterinary clinics and other animal-care businesses, and also available to other local service businesses. It answers incoming calls, helps book appointments, and sends you a summary so you can follow up. By using our website or service, you agree to these terms.
Your account
You are responsible for the information you give us and for how Aveline is used on your business line. Keep your contact details current so we can reach you about your account.
Acceptable use
Use Aveline only for lawful business communications. Do not use the service to harass anyone, send spam, impersonate others, or break applicable law. We may suspend or end service if it is misused.
No guaranteed outcomes
We work to answer calls quickly and accurately, but we do not guarantee that every call will be booked, that every caller will become a customer, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Phone networks, caller behavior, and other factors outside our control can affect results.
Your data
You own your business information. We use call details, transcripts, and contact information as needed to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.
As-is service
The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Aveline is not liable for lost profits, lost jobs, missed calls, or other indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised.
